Thomas Frischknecht (*1968) has been the Managing Partner of 2assistU GmbH, with its headquarters at the Technopark Aargau located in Brugg, since 2011. The company offers trainings, as well as company and project management.
Thomas Frischknecht is an acknowledged aviation expert with a comprehensive network in Swiss aviation. His fields of expertise include emergency and crisis management, sales and marketing (including social media), public relations, as well as safety, security and quality management.
Thomas Frischknecht has worked in leading positions for airlines and airports, domestic and abroad, for more than 25 years. Between the years of 2007 and 2014, he was the managing director of a medium-sized Swiss airline. He is the founder and moderator of the XING XPERT group LUFTFAHRT SCHWEIZ and teaches at the International School of Tourism Management in Zurich.
Thomas Frischknecht attended the commercial school in Liestal, graduated from the University of Zurich with an Executive MBA and continued his education to become an adult educator (SVEB 1).
He grew up in the Basel region, is married and the father of three children. Thomas Frischknecht speaks German, English and French.
Roland Zeller (*1969) is a serial entrepreneur, business angel and board member of several companies. As the founder of travel.ch (2000), Roland pioneered Switzerland’s online travel business and changed the industry significantly.
For more than 10 years, Roland has been investing in Internet start-ups. He usually invests in the very early days of such ventures, financing and mentoring the companies and their founders until breakeven or sale. Among his best-known investments are www.getyourguide.com (a platform for tours and leisure activities) and www.foap.com (user generated stock photos).
Beside the travel-industry, Roland is an expert in online marketing, e-commerce and online marketplaces.
Roland started his career with an apprenticeship in a travel agency in Bern (Switzerland), followed by studies in economy in Zurich (Switzerland). In addition, he gained extensive education in tourism with an internship in a hotel in Stockholm (Sweden) and working a few months on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean.
Roland was born and raised in Köniz (Switzerland). The father of two grown up kids lives near Zurich. He speaks fluently German, English, French and Swedish, and has basic skills of Spanish.
Dr. Beat Bühlmann is Managing Director Product Development at Hult International Business School. He was responsible for the entire redesign and the implementation of Hult's Global One-Year MBA program in London, Dubai, Shanghai, Boston, New York and San Francisco. In 2014, Hult's new MBA program was awarded the prestigious Global AMBA Award.
Besides his full-time job at Hult, Beat Bühlmann is member of the board at Yourposition AG and Horisen AG. Prior to Hult, he worked six years as Industry Leader/Sales Manager and was Member of the Management Team at Google Switzerland in Zurich. He also spent one year as management expat in London heading the Healthcare Department of Google UK in order to learn from the most advanced internet market and to assure a knowledge transfer back to Switzerland. Before joining Google, he worked six years as Sales Manager at Dell Switzerland in Geneva. His first job right after graduating was Sales Consultant Key Accounts at Hewlett-Packard in Zurich.
Beat Bühlmann grew up in a small country-side hotel in central Switzerland. He first did an apprenticeship as car mechanic, followed by an engineering degree (BSc) in computer science. He then completed a part-time post-graduate program (E-MBA) in Business Administration (Zurich) and then started his part-time doctoral program studying virtual teams while working for Dell. He earned his doctoral degree in Business Administration from UniSA (Adelaide) and published the management book Need to Manage a Virtual Team? Theory and Practice in a Nutshell.
Since 2008, Beat Bühlmann has had various teaching assignments (University of applied sciences Zurich, University of St. Gallen, University of Zurich, University of Bern, Hult Business School in London & Dubai, and at University of Tehran). Moreover, he is a recognised speaker, e.g. CMO Conference Zurich, Swiss Banking Day, Gottlieb-Duttweiler-Institute, St. Galler Internet Day, Swiss Economic Forum, Technopark Zurich, Management Conference Tehran etc. He lectures and gives speeches about Sales Management, Marketing Strategy, Digital Transformation, Virtual Team Management and People Development.
Beat Bühlman (Swiss) lives in the city of Zug, is married to Silvia (Peruvian and Swiss) and is father of a little boy called Dario. He is fluent in Swiss German (native language), German, French and English and has some basic knowledge in Spanish.
